Sign language in everyday life and work

We offer sign language education with a focus on practical use. The education is adapted to the participants' level, needs and context. For beginners and continued studies. The course arrangements are flexible and can be tailored for individuals, workplaces or organizations with both shorter introductory courses and longer programs for deepening. The education can take place in the classroom, online or out in the field and combines interactive exercises, practical examples and authentic situations. By practicing together with experienced sign language teachers, participants have the opportunity to develop both language skills and cultural understanding, making them more confident and inclusive in meeting with sign language users.

We have trained teachers with experience of teaching both within TUFF and within high school, continuing education groups and private teaching. We tailor the training according to your wishes. Our goal is for participants to feel confident in using sign language in everyday situations, at work or in meetings and social contexts. We work with both theory and practice, where the focus is on communication, understanding of sign variations and natural body language.
